What the "El" Chicago!

Welcome to "What the"El" Chicago"! This blog is about the 100+ year old Chicago Elevated Rail system or, the "El" as it is known by Chicagoans. The"El" is the lifeline of the city carrying people to and from work, shopping, appointments, play, and back and forth between the different neighborhoods that make up the city.

The photos on this blog are gathered from a fine group of excellent people who know how to capture an image and record it. They are all credited with each photo.

I hope that you enjoy it!
